The standard check in period is 4:00pm- 6:00pm.

The standard check out period is 8:30-10:00 am. All conference participants must vacate and check out of their rooms no later than 10:00 am on the August 3rd. The air-conditioned accommodations are comfortable, convenient, and economically priced.

Guests should review and follow the directions in the emails prior to checking in for housing to allow for a fast and smooth check in process.

Check In on July 30th and 31st:

  • Your check-in window is 4-6pm on the first day of housing.
  • There will be a table set up in the main lobby of the Harbin building where our staff will be present to check guests into their housing as well provide troubleshooting support for SwitchTech access.

Late arrivals on July 30th and 31st: 6pm-10 pm, or guests arriving after July 30th and 31st:

  • The summer Housing Office in Village C West will have extended office hours from 8am to 10pm every day through the summer.
  • Late Check ins between 6pm and 10pm should go to the summer housing office to check in.
  • Guests arriving after the start of their housing can check in at the summer housing office.

Guests arriving overnight 10pm-8am:

  • Guests arriving overnight (10pm-8am) should call our Night Duty number so a member of our staff can assist them with checking in.

Entry to rooms in the residence halls and apartments is controlled by hard keys or virtual Switch Tech access. Entry to the residence halls and some apartment complexes is controlled by Conference Visitor Card. Keys and Conference Visitor Cards must be individually signed out at check-in and individually signed back in at check-out. There are no exceptions to this rule.

For each hard key not returned to the Office of Residential Living, or virtual check out completed by the designated check-out time forconference participants, there is a one hundred dollars ($100.00) charge. Returning the key by mail at the conclusion of the conference does not preclude the charge. There is a fifty dollars ($50.00) fee for each conference Visitor Cards not returned to the Office of Residential Living by the designated check-out time.
