The majority of our event will take place at the McCarthy Hall on the campus of Georgetown University.

Lodging: Harbin Hall

We will stay in Harbin Hall, which is only a couple of blocks from the main venue.

Parking on Georgetown’s campus

Where to park on campus: Southwest Garage

Visitor and daily parking is available in the Southwest Garage, accessed from 3611 Canal Road NW. View Georgetown’s Campus Map (new window) to plan your trip.

When entering, pull a ticket from the gate dispenser. Pay by credit card at the exit gate or bring the ticket to the pay station on the ground floor lobby of Kennedy Hall to pay with cash or credit card.

On-campus parking rates

Parking is in effect Monday-Saturday at Hilltop locations. All daily passes expire 12:01 am the following day.

  • Daily Parking Rate: $25
  • Daily Parking (after 3 p.m.): $15
  • Daily Parking (after 7 p.m.): $10

If you don’t mind leaving your car in an off-campus lot

We have been told there are some lots across the bridge in Rosslyn, especially near the metro stop, where they can store their vehicles for a few days and take the free Georgetown Shuttle bus back to campus.

Public transportation

Washington DC has a wide array of public transportation, including buses, and metro.

Ridesharing

Uber and Lyft are available in Washington DC.

Airport

The Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport – DCA is about 20 miles from Georgetown University. Check if your hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport.
